The Technical Sales Engineer drives profitable growth by combining technical expertise with strong commercial execution. This role manages the full sales cycle — from identifying opportunities and understanding customer needs, to proposal development, contract closing, and delivery support.

 

In a growing business environment, the role also supports vendor coordination, process improvement, and effective positioning of integrated power solutions in the market.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Manage sales pipeline and lead tracking
  • Support market mapping initiatives

 

Sales Execution

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and bid submissions
  • Coordinate technical and commercial requirements
  • Support negotiations within approved guidelines
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation

 

Technical & Product Support

  • Act as SME for electrical and power solutions
  • Respond to technical queries
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards

 

Account & Project Support

  • Manage assigned accounts and client relationships
  • Support project handover and delivery monitoring
  • Track billing and payment follow-ups

 

Vendor Coordination

  • Support supplier sourcing and Request For Quotations (RFQs)
  • Manage technical submissions and accreditation
  • Monitor supplier performance

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical or solution-based sales within the power, electrical, or electrical engineering services industry
  • Strong working knowledge of power distribution systems and LV/MV equipment
  • Experience in portfolio management and contract execution
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage the full sales cycle and build client relationships
