As Substation Technician, you will support substation asset lifecycle management activities and maintenance and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Substation Asset Management Section -  to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Executes installation of major substation equipment to support new substation projects, equipment rehabilitation, and overall asset management.

  • Executes troubleshooting and repair of power equipment and associated devices in substations

  • Conduct repair and maintenance, welding and boom truck operation

  • Attends to switching and normalization of substation during load transfer, lines rehabilitation and emergency situations (On-Call).

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

 

  • Electrical Technology graduate

  • NCII on Electrical Installation & Maintenance preferred

 

Technical / Functional Skills:

 

  • Strong skills in trouble shooting & repair

  • Professional driver's license and ability to drive 4-wheel vehicles preferred
  • SMAW NCII Certificate preferred
