Job Description
Responsible for implementing the company’s plans and activities related to OSH. Ensures the compliance of the company on all OSH aspects.

Job Responsibilities
SAFETY AND HEALTH

  • Ensures hazard mitigation process and provides recommendations to prevent the occurrence of accidents and ensure the safety of personnel and properties.
  • Supervises OSH team members in the conduct of their day to day activities to ensure that the OSH program is implemented from audits, inspections, training, information dissemination, etc.
  • Conducts OSH audits and inspections.
  • Coordinates, facilitates, monitors and implements company safety programs through training and information dissemination.
  • Participates in incident investigations and ensures accordance to the reporting process.
  • Provides oversight and monitoring on the action items derived in the incident investigation.
  • Prepares monthly Performance Report and analyzes trends to improve the OSH performance of the company.
  • Prepares and submits all OSH regulatory compliance permits and reports.
  • Ensures job hazard assessment activities before implementing the project to eliminate the hazards.
  • Supports teams in the conformance to OSH standards and program requirements.
  • Build capability of OSH personnel.
  • Manages the performance of direct reports.
  • Protects information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference in accordance with ISMS policies.
  • Maintains availability, confidentiality and integrity of documents.

BUSINESS CONTINUITY OPERATIONS

  • Acts as the Safety and Security Team Leader.
  • Oversees the implementation of Safety and security procedures including crowd control and traffic in incident and evacuation sites.
  • Ensures temporary preservation and security of affected facilities or equipment for possible insurance assessment.
  • Assist external authorities (Police, Fire Bureau, Medical Teams) in search, rescue and recovery efforts.

ADMINISTRATIVE

  • Ensure section goals and development plans are aligned with the organization's objectives and attained in the best means possible.
  • Supervise, monitor and evaluate performance and development of section team member's knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders on processes, systems and recommends plans and programs.
  • Prepare, recommend and monitor section's requirements on materials, equipment and manpower.

OTHERS

  • Ensure compliance and adherence to ISO IMS, AMS and other implemented management systems.
  • Readily assumes tasks requiring immediate or urgent attention that may be reasonably assigned by the Team Leader.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • University/College graduate with any Engineering or Industrial course.

Experience

  • Professional: at least 5 years related work experience
  • Leadership Experience: N/A
  • Project Experience: Handled at least 1 project in a related field
