Safety, Health, Environment and Security Specialist
Job Summary
The Safety, Health, Environment & Security (SHES) Specialist supports the implementation and administration of the company’s SHES programs by ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, reporting, and coordination with internal teams, contractors, and government agencies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, healthy, secure, and environmentally compliant workplace by handling SHES-related administrative processes, monitoring requirements, and supporting audits and inspections in accordance with labor laws, OSH standards, and company policies.
- Safety, Health & Environment Administration
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) programs across assigned sites
- Support the preparation, submission, and tracking of OSH and environmental permits, licenses, and regulatory reports
- Maintain accurate SHES records, reports, and documentation in compliance with company and ISO/IMS requirements
- Assist in coordinating OSH trainings, orientations, and information dissemination activities
- Compliance, Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and consolidate monthly SHES performance reports, compliance trackers, and variance analyses
- Support SHES audits, inspections, and incident documentation, including follow-through of action items
- Ensure proper document control, confidentiality, and data integrity in line with Data Privacy and ISMS policies
- Coordination & Administrative Support
- Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and site representatives on SHES administrative requirements
- Facilitate administrative processes such as requests for payments, purchase orders, and liquidations related to SHES activities
- Support safety, environmental, and security initiatives through effective coordination and record management
- Security & Workplace Support
- Assist in monitoring compliance with company security procedures and documentation requirements
- Support coordination with external agencies during inspections, audits, or regulatory visits
- Perform other SHES-related administrative tasks reasonably assigned to support operational efficiency
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Nursing, or any related discipline.
- Registered Engineer or Licensed Nurse.
- Safety Officer II eligibility is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) functions, particularly in administrative, compliance, or support roles is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
- Familiarity with ISO and Integrated Management Systems (IMS) is an advantage.
- Able to work on-site in Lima EnerZone, Lima Technology Center, Lipa, Batangas.
