SHES Project Staff
Job Summary
The Safety, Health, Environment & Security (SHES) Project Staff is responsible for supporting the implementation and administration of the company’s SHES programs, with primary focus on the Contractor Induction System. This role plays a critical role in facilitating safety induction for Visayan Electric Contractors and in providing administrative support for SHES-related processes. The position also ensures effective monitoring and compliance with labor laws, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, and Company policies.
- Safety, Health & Environment Administration

Facilitate and administer the Contractor Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) Induction Program for contractors prior to work deployment.

Conduct other SHES orientation sessions to ensure understanding of Distribution Utility safety standards, policies, site rules, and operational requirements.

Administer pre- and post-induction evaluations to assess comprehension and retention of SHES requirements.

Support the DU SHES team in strengthening safety culture and ensuring consistent implementation of SHES requirements.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) programs across assigned sites

- Compliance, Reporting & Documentation

Facilitate the issuance of Contractor Induction Pass IDs to personnel who have successfully completed SHES site induction and passed the required assessments.

Validate contractor documentation and coordinate with relevant departments for approval and clearance.

Prepare reports and monitoring records related to contractor induction, compliance status, and SHES performance.

- Coordination & Administrative Support

Coordinate with other departments, contractors, to schedule SHES inductions, assessments, and related activities.

Serve as the primary point of coordination for contractor induction requirements, clarifications, and follow-ups.

Provide administrative support to the DU SHES team in the implementation and monitoring of the Contractor Induction System.

Manage induction schedules, attendance records, and training logistics to ensure timely and efficient execution.

Assist in the preparation of induction materials, presentations, and communication advisories.

Perform other SHES-related administrative tasks as may be assigned to support operational and compliance objectives.

Job Qualifications
-
Graduate of any four-year course, preferably Engineering or a related field.

Familiar with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations (advantage).

With basic training and facilitation skills.

With experience or exposure to safety programs or safety-related activities.

Able to handle documentation, record-keeping, and simple reporting tasks.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to coordinate with different teams.
