The SHE Supervisor - Occupational Safety and Health will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring workplace safety and health programs to strengthen the SHE culture and sustain excellence. This role oversees the execution of government, organizational, and corporate SHE initiatives, ensuring compliance, effective incident management and loss prevention.

  • Develop and supervise implementation of OSH programs and plans to ensure attainment of OSH objectives and goals.
  • Supervise emergency response operations in the event of incidents (e.g. injurious, fire, etc.) and develop/update OSH procedures including emergency work instructions.
  • Evaluates proposals to ensure OSH requirements are integrated and are acceptable.
  • Plan and monitor budget, time/schedule, condition of OSH equipment and manpower for the efficient execution of OSH plans, programs, drills and exercises.
  • Organize inputs from relevant teams and/or streamlining OSH processes and requirements to come up with a united action to resolve issues and concerns and minimise risk in the workplace.
  • Drafts and ensure on-time renewal and/or application of permits and submission of reports to regulatory agencies and other interested parties by regular monitoring and updating.
  • Serve as the Secretary of SHES Committee and act as a Safety Officer of the Company.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in order to improve training session plans, timely revise and/or create procedures to align with new/changing requirements and benchmark with best practices and/or international standards.
  • Provide support to the execution and resolution of issues on the implementation of programs and plans, potential and actual non-compliances by facilitating discussions with relevant teams to come up and execute a compliance plan
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of OSH programs by audits, inspections, analyzing data and update the concerned teams with the necessary corrective actions.
  • Assist during investigation of incidents and non-compliances in order to identify root causes and collaborate for the development of corrective actions to prevent recurrence, as applicable.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by his/her immediate superior.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Registered Engineer and/or holder of a valid PRC license
  • At least 5 years of experience in Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) or a related field
  • Involved in at least one SHE-related initiative, with experience as a project member or higher
  • Must be able to attain Safety Officer accreditation within one (1) year of appointment
