Job Description
The position is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of Corporate Communications in attaining favorable image and reputation of the company to its stakeholders.
The position is responsible for planning and organizing internal and external communications to create and maintain favorable image and brand of the company with its stakeholders in conformance with the goals and objectives of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
Management of media relations.
Final approval of all information released to the media including all correspondence to external stakeholders involving reputational issues to ensure that it conforms with Company goals and objectives by directing the development of messages and storylines.
Ensures the prompt response to media inquiries and requests.
Official Spokesperson on all issues affecting the company (media interviews, presscon, PRs and Holding Statements).
Responsible for the timely release and efficient dissemination of information and other materials to all possible media outlets including drafting/editing of press releases and official statements ensuring technical and factual accuracy of all information.
Ensures proper management of company website, Social media sites and all other customer touchpoints affecting reputational aspect.
Builds and maintains internal and external networks to facilitate message delivery.
Responsible for the conceptualization, design/layout and oversees the production of Company newsletter, advertising materials and all other information materials.
Overall management of the Media and Customer Relations Team for contingency operations.
Job Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
