Reliability Engineer
Will be responsible for executing the company’s efforts toward the efficient implementation of all Reliability activities which includes RCA Incident reporting, investigation, and execution, and as well as support to asset management cycle undertakings, whilst establishing sound internal engagement between grids for ROR power plants of the company and maintaining industry standard availability and reliability efficiency factors. The position also involves applying data science principles in solving a range of business problems for generation plants with a lot of involvement of support services to ROR power plants operational processes. The part includes problem analysis and management to identify growth and improvement opportunities through data.
Strategic and Core Responsibilities
- Execute Reliability and Performance Management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Maintain and regularly update reliability records (e.g., RCA investigation forms).
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of policies and procedures.
- Formulate and cascade Asset Management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Plan and execute Asset Management projects covering asset life cycle, system/process improvements, strategic planning, and cross-department collaboration.
- Establish data analytics to interpret O&M trends, reliability metrics, and generation forecasts.
- Ensure risks in Reliability and Performance Management are identified, addressed, and maintained at acceptable levels.
- Protect information assets and maintain confidentiality and integrity of operational records, design documents, and cost estimates.
- Evaluate subordinate performance and ensure company Integrated Management Systems are followed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering , preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- At least two (2) years of related work experience in renewable energy generation (ROR, Wind, Solar, Geothermal)
- Competent knowledge of computer programming and statistical analysis
- Licensed Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
