RED Project Staff (Safety Video Prod)

Job Description:

The Project Staff - Safety Video Production is responsible for developing engaging, informative, and high-quality safety training videos to support the organization's safety awareness and compliance programs. This role ensures that critical safety protocols are clearly communicated to employees and contractors through visual media. Working closely with the Operations, Safety, and Communications teams, the Project Staff - Safety Video Production translates technical safety content into easy-to-understand and impactful visual presentations that promote a strong culture of safety across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safety Video Production
   

  • Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit safety training videos and awareness materials.
     

  • Develop creative visual content that accurately presents safety protocols, emergency procedures, and best practices.
     

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
     

• Collaboration and Communication
   

  • Work closely with the RED, Engineering Operations and SHES teams to align video content with organizational safety goals and training plans.
     

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Multimedia Arts, Occupational Safety and Health, or any 4-year related course.
   

• Relevant experience in:
   

  • Video production and editing (including scripting, filming, and post-production)
     

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools).
   

• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices is highly preferred.
   

• Strong visual storytelling and communication skills.
