Job Summary

 

The Quality Assurance Staff plays a key role in ensuring that all construction and maintenance work performed by service providers meets company standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual expectations. This position validates completed work orders, checks conformity with the approved Work Plan, and ensures accurate documentation for billing and payment processing. He/She also supports contractor performance monitoring, conducts conformity assessments, and ensures that materials, manpower, and procedures follow approved engineering and safety standards. Through careful review, reporting, and verification, the QA Staff helps maintain high-quality execution of CAPEX projects, such as the Pole Replacement Program, and contributes to a reliable and safe power distribution system.

 

  1. Quality Verification & Work Order Validation
    • Validate work performed by service providers through photo review or on-site inspection
    • Check that all materials issued were properly installed, unused materials returned, and recoverable materials accounted for
    • Verify that the number of personnel deployed matches the approved Work Plan
    • Record and upload deviations or infractions into the CBS and update compliance status
  2. Billing Support & Documentation
    • Validate service provider billing claims against actual work completed
    • Review correctness of applicable labor rates (regular, OT, NSD, holiday pay)
    • Prepare statements of account for penalties and monitor settlement of fines
    • Process service provider bills upon completion of corrective actions
  3. Conformity Assessment & Reporting
    • Conduct conformity reviews through field surveys or random inspections of completed work orders
    • Prepare QA findings and reports for action by supervisors
    • Document variances from standards and ensure accurate reporting
  4. Contractor Performance Monitoring
    • Verify contractor compliance with required tools, equipment, and service standards
    • Participate in incident investigations related to standard breaches
    • Gather and consolidate performance data (technical and safety) for evaluation
    • Prepare performance reports for submission to the Engineering Support Manager

 

 

Job Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in line construction, design, or a related technical field.
  • Solid understanding of distribution line construction, operations, and maintenance.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in field and office settings.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with service providers and internal teams.
  • Demonstrates high integrity in handling compliance, safety, and quality-related information.
  • Able to work on-site at Subic EnerZone, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City.
