QA/QC PPBAT Staff
Expected Outcomes and Responsibilities:
Defect Intake & Tracking
Register, classify, and prioritize defects by safety, production, and compliance impact; map items to systems (modules/strings, inverters, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, civil/BOP); assign owners and due dates; define acceptance criteria; and maintain a controlled DNP log/punch list to prevent overdue closures.
Technical Assessment & Testing
Plan and execute verification and acceptance tests—including IV-curve, thermal imaging, insulation resistance, torque checks, relay/protection tests, transformer/MV checks, and SCADA functional validation—verify calibration certificates and procedures, witness corrective works, and perform post-rectification tests to confirm resolution.
Documentation & Evidence Chain
Compile complete evidence packs per defect (time/GPS-stamped photos, raw test files, calibration certs, method statements, as-builts, sign-offs, closure forms) and keep records version-controlled using standardized templates (NCR/NCOR, punch list, acceptance checklists).
Claims & Recovery (DNP vs. Insurance)
Support in the estimate of restoration costs; review contractual warranties and insurance policy terms; recommend the appropriate recovery path; prepare and submit claim dossiers; coordinate with EPC and O&M, track status, timelines, and dispute risks until recovery is secured.Data Analysis.
Compliance & Governance
Enforce adherence to applicable codes and standards (e.g., IEC for PV systems, utility/grid requirements, SHES policies); ensure corrective works meet design intent and Employer’s Requirements; maintain audit-ready records throughout the DNP.
Stakeholder Coordination
Support DNP coordination with EPC, O&M, and internal teams; conduct regular meetings; issue minutes and action trackers; escalate risks early to maintain momentum toward timely closures.
Data, Reporting & Analytics
Maintain a collaborative DNP tracker/dashboard showing status, aging, risk, cost exposure, and recovery route; deliver weekly DNP status and RCA summaries; analyze trends and recurring defects; quantify production/PR impacts to prioritize actions. Contribute to the development of MCP (measure-correlate-predict) process model solutions for better baseline and performance monitoring.
Continuous Improvement & Training
Capture lessons learned from each closure; update inspection plans, checklists, and acceptance criteria; deliver toolbox talks and brief training on quality procedures and evidence collection.
