Job Description
The Field asset Surveyor plays a crucial role in accurately mapping and documenting our critical infrastructure assets. This role is responsible for conducting on-site surveys, collecting precise data using advanced tools, and ensuring the integrity of our asset records. This position requires strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Resposibilities
- Asset Mapping and Documentation:
- Conduct on-site surveys of infrastructure assets, including poles, transformers, and lines, utilizing various mapping techniques and technologies.
- Accurately document the location, specifications, and condition of these assets.
- Data Collection and Validation:
- Employ surveying instruments, and other relevant tools to collect precise spatial and attribute data.
- Rigorously validate collected data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to data standards.

- Progress Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular progress reports summarizing survey activities, data collected, and any challenges encountered.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation of survey findings, methodologies, and equipment used
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere strictly to all safety standards, regulations, and company protocols during field operations.
- Identify and report any potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Team Coordination and Stakeholder Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, including engineers, GIS specialists, and project managers, to ensure seamless data integration and project alignment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders as required
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering Graduate or Any Electrical Related Courses
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
