Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, proficiency in Google Workspace and OpenOffice applications, is an advantage.

The position is responsible in ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of goods, materials and equipment essential to the company's operations. This includes securing acceptable quality at the most competitive price, while adhering to company policies and procedures, in order to achieve business goals and objectives.

Job Title: Buyer – Non-PO Transactions 

Job Description:
The Buyer will be responsible for managing non-purchase order (non-PO) transactions, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of goods, materials, equipment, and services critical to the company’s operations. The role ensures procurement of acceptable quality items at the most cost-effective price, while strictly adhering to company policies and procedures to support overall business goals and objectives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and process non-PO procurement requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure that all goods, services, and materials procured meet quality standards and company specifications.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the most competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Coordinate deliveries to ensure continued support for business operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill procurement needs.
  • Ensure adherence to purchasing policies & procedures.

Qualifications: 

  • Must be graduate of any engineering course;
  • Must have good communication & negotiation skills;
  • Knowledge of Oracke Fusion systems is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and OpenOffice applications is preferred
