As Project RCOA - Staff, you will support the participation of contestable customers under the Retail Competition and Open Access in compliance with the data submission and market
requirements of Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines. and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with RCOA team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Meter Data Extraction and Processing
  • Data Validation and Quality Checking
  • Aggregation of RAP Member Data
  • Compliance with IEMOP Data Requirements
  • Monitoring and Coordination
  • Support for Market Settlement Processes

 

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:

  • Willingness to work on night shift schedules.

  • Strong analytical skills, computer proficiency, and a data-driven mindset.

  • Initiative, resourcefulness, and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation

  • A high sense of responsibility, accountability, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 

 

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Mathematics (BS Math), Computer Engineering (BSCpE), Computer Science (BSCS), or any related four-year degree.

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior work experience is not required.

  • Relevant training certificates, technical certifications, or diploma courses related to metering, data management, information technology, or electrical systems are an advantage.

 

Technical / Functional Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, and macros) and data management tools.

  • Knowledge of interval metering systems, AMR/AMI technologies, and Head-End Systems (HES).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to document processes, prepare technical reports, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
