As Engineering Lead you will be responsible for managing the overall project technical deliverables from project development to execution. This includes interfacing and collaboration with both internal (Operations, business development, project services, Supply Chain, Finance, regulatory and compliance teams) and external stakeholders.and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Project Development and Execution to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Principal accountabilities for this role are as follows:

Safe and on time project delivery, within budget and to the highest quality standards:
-
Management of the EPC contract’s performance and delivery
-

Technical Assurance of project design and execution, ensuring the integration and alignment of all relevant technical disciplines
-
Management of the Owner’s Engineer contract’s performance and delivery
-
-
Onsite construction management
-
As Contract Holder for the following contracts, accountable for contract performance, delivery and administration:

EPC
-
Owner’s Engineer
-
QA/QC
-
-
Ensures that the project design, contracts, procurement and construction all meet standards ensuring safety, technical integrity, required by industry and regulatory bodies.

Primary technical resource person for interfacing with regulatory bodies e.g., NGCP, ERC, DOE, DENR, BOC, BOI, etc.

Manage the following direct reports:

Construction Manager
-
Project/Field Engineers
-

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who has the following skills:
- Agile Project Management
- Permits and Regulatory Compliance
- Commercial Operations
- Power Plant Technology Research
- Financial Analysis
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
-
Professional: At least 5 years combined direct experience in project management, design engineering, environmental impact assessments, permitting and licensing, planning and budgeting, and feasibility studies.

Experience in distribution, transmission, regulatory affairs, project economic analysis, construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance will be of added advantage
-
Leadership: At least 2 years at manager level in the power industry or the equivalent.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably with MBA or equivalent
-
Must be eligible as a Licensed Engineer
-
Not required but will be of added advantage:

Professional Engineering License would be an advantage (e.g., PME, PEE)
