Project Cost Controller
Job Description:
The Project Cost Controller oversees a project's revenues and expenses to ensure it stays within budget until project close-out. This role also provides input and drives action on how the organization can improve its project operations to meet its needs and comply with project management standards.
The functions of project controls include initiating, planning, monitoring and controlling, communicating, and closing out project costs and schedule. Common job duties for a project controller also includes supporting the Project Finance Lead and Project Lead on financial activities such as month-end closing and forecasting
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Finance or Accounting related courses.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience as cost controller exposed to various construction projects specializing in cost management
- Ideally has been involved from initiation to project closeout
- Hands-on experience in construction management, cost estimation, or any related field
- Leadership and Teamwork: Experience in leading teams or working collaboratively within a project management team
- With background and knowledge in Cost Management Plan and Earned Value Analysis
- Oracle Knowledge (Preferable)
- Power BI Knowledge (Preferable)
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Features
