Planning and Business Process Supervisor

Will be responsible for supporting the organization in aligning business processes with strategic priorities, ensuring efficiency, and achieving performance targets. The role focuses on continuous improvement and innovation by facilitating process reviews and implementing data-driven and technology-enabled solutions to enhance effectiveness. Additionally, the position ensures value delivery through governance mechanisms for planning, performance monitoring, process documentation, and project transitions, while overseeing the day-to-day implementation of Plan-to-Build requirements, coordinating stage gate activities, and preparing projects for transition to operations.

PLANNING AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE            
Governance
Supports implementation of governance processes. Gathers strategic targets, monitors performance data, identifies variances, and coordinates aligned planning inputs.
These can be done through:

BUSINESS PROCESS AND INNOVATION            
Governance
Maintains governance standards for documentation and ISO compliance. Facilitates process analysis, supports innovation monitoring, and coordinates change management activities.
These can be done through:
1.    Process Analysis and Design 
2.    Innovation Management 
3.    Change Management
    
PROCESS ASSURANCE             
Governance
Prepares audit workplans and leads the conducting of process audits. Validates conformance and tracks closure of audit findings.
These can be done through:
1.    Audit Planning
2.    Audit Execution
3.    Audit Closure

    
PROJECT TRANSITION
Coordinates adherence to Plan-to-Build policies. Facilitates gate reviews, ensures documentation readiness, and leads ORR workshops and turnover preparations.

3.    Operational Readiness Review

    
BUSINESS PARTNERING            
Serves as a tactical partner to BU/Division/Group Heads in planning, performance, and process improvement by:

  • 1. Leading implementation of business process improvement initiatives within the assigned BU/Division/Group.
    2. Co-facilitating planning and ideation sessions to support Tier 2 / Tier 2.5 goal setting.
    3. Guiding process owners in drafting and improving processes, ensuring alignment with governance standards.
    4. Leading process audits and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
    5. Supporting OpsCom meetings by preparing materials, including the performance scorecard, facilitating discussions, and tracking the progress of initiatives.
    6. Providing capability-building sessions and training to address gaps that hinder performance or process execution.

MANAGEMENT, REPRESENTATION, AND OTHER DUTIES            

  • Supervises day-to-day activities of Planning and Business Process Specialists to execute initiatives successfully aligned with the group’s goals and objectives through coaching and collaboration.    
  • Maintains/enhances employee integration and performance by screening team members/supervisors during recruitment, communicating job responsibilities upon hiring, conducting employee orientation, evaluating performance, providing feedback to the employees and training/coaching as necessary to ensure competencies are built and improved.    
  • Drives the team to contribute to organizational goals by determining group and departmental objectives, planning activities, monitoring completion, evaluating outputs, and budgeting for required resources    
  • Promotes the Aboitiz culture by ensuring that the team members are engaged, participating in the culture programs, imbibe ITIRS (Integrity, Teamwork, Innovation, Responsibility and Service Excellence) in their daily work routine and provides feedback if necessary.    
  • Ensures a healthy, safe, and secure work environment by determining, cascading, and implementing health, safety, and security standards and processes, determining hazards in conducting activities, determining risks vs. objectives, and providing mitigating and contingency actions.    
  • Ensures compliance with applicable policies, guidelines, procedures, and work instructions through team participation in process cascades, closure of gaps based on audits, and raising of any misalignment to concerned groups    
    Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by his/her immediate leader.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or any Engineering degree.

  • At least 3 years of combined professional experience in planning and business performance, business process management, program/project management, internal audit, certification/accreditation attainment, or training facilitation.

  • At least 1 year of leadership experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Experience leading or co-leading at least 2 cross-functional projects or programs.

  • Experience facilitating at least 1 training or workshop.

  • 1 vacant position available in Makati City, and 1 vacant position available in Calauan, Laguna
