Planning Engineer
Job Description:
The position is responsible for the familiarization of every department that is included in the Engineering Corp rotation and understand how these departments function how it is interconnected with the other.
Job Responsibilities
-Stage 1: Rotation to all departments included in the Engineering Corp program for six (6) months at 1 month per department and familiarize the functions and roles for each department.
-Stage 2: Immersion to a specific department that is included in the Engineering Corp program for a minimum of one (1) year and have specific goals and competencies for the specific department that is assigned.
-Records and updates task monitoring sheets periodically.
-Participates in promoting 5S in the workplace including service vehicles and locker rooms.
-Files employee time records, meal subsidies and other necessary personal profile updates promptly.
-Acts on and supports safety initiative of the company.
-Stands as back-up to a fellow who is absent or on leave.
-Readily assumes tasks requiring immediate or urgent attention that may be reasonably assigned by the Team Leader.
-Ensures compliance and adherence to ISO IMS, AMS and other implemented management systems.
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, must be licensed.
Experience: Professional, Leadership, Project
Competencies (Knowledge-Experience-Capabilities):
Basic Awareness on Safety and Health: Possesses knowledge on IMS requirements, 1AP guidelines and applicable laws on occupational health, and safety. Able to practice, implement and report deviations related to IMS requirements, 1AP guidelines and applicable laws. (Proficiency Level Required: 2).
Basic Awareness on Environmental Management: Possess knowledge on IMS requirements, 1AP guidelines and applicable laws on environment as well as solid waste management. (Proficiency Level Required: 1).
Hazardous Chemical / Materials Handling: Possesses knowledge on proper use, management and disposal in accordance to IMS procedure and legal requirements. Able to implement and handle hazardous chemicals and materials in a safe and proper manner. (Proficiency Level Required: 1).
Electrical Safety: Possesses knowledge on basic electrical safety in the workplace in accordance with IMS procedure. Able to work safely in a workplace with electricity. (Proficiency Level Required: 2).
Basic Awareness on Asset Management System (AMS): Possesses knowledge on Asset Management System requirements including understanding on basic finance in support of AMS. (Proficiency Level Required: 1).
