As PV Maintenance Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for the maintenance services, execution, inspection, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of the work safely, with quality, and within schedule and budget objectives and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with [team] to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Performing daily operation or task management functions as delegated by the Plant Engineer, including customer liaison, coordination of technicals, assisting the Plant Engineer in PV plant initiation activities, and in preparation of the operation and maintenance planning.

  • Meetings, general PV plant operation, maintenance, inspection, supervision, and coordination.

  • Monitor and report PV plant operations, and preventive, and corrective maintenance activities against schedule and plan.

  • Executing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with the Scope of Work and quality objectives of the PV plant.

  • Effective communication with the operations team, vendor, and third parties.

  • Accurate, timely, and effective reporting to the Plant Engineer.

  • Demonstrates strong Basic Solar Knowledge: Brings a solid foundation and understanding of solar energy principles and how these systems function.

  • Prioritizes Safety: Strictly adheres to industry safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment at all times.

  • Excels in Data Analysis: Can effectively monitor system outputs, interpret performance metrics, and use data to troubleshoot issues or optimize efficiency.

  • Manages Operations Smoothly: Capably handles the day-to-day operation of solar facilities to keep everything running at peak performance.

  • Executes Reliable Maintenance: Can proactively perform routine upkeep and address necessary repairs to minimize system downtime.

  • Values Innovation & Continuous Learning: Stays adaptable and eager to grow, keeping up with the latest technological advancements and best practices in the renewable energy sector



What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  • 1 year of related experience in maintaining a power plant facility

  • Proven experience in a Photovoltaic-Solar Farm is considered a plus

  • Proven experience in Power Plant operation and maintenance, and Construction or PMC is considered a plus

  • Familiar with EPC contract and construction management of large infrastructure or power plant is considered a plus

  • Preferably a Licensed Engineer (Electrical/ ECE)

  • Preferably a Registered Master Electrician

 

Technical / Functional Skills:

  • Proficiency in utilizing SCADA monitoring system, diagnostic testing equipment and able to track performance and troubleshoot technical issues

  • Strong skills in executing complex repair, preventive maintenance procedure and technical diagnosis to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
