Metering Testing and Diagnostic Engineer

Job Scope:

He shall be responsible in performing field audit and testing of power meters and instrument transformers as well as in performing technical analysis, not limited to vector analysis, wiring connection troubleshooting, integrity and functionality tests, insulation, turns ratio, burden test (for transformers), and other forms of procedure (i.e. demagnetization,etc.). Metering applications covered by testing and audit are as follows: primary and secondary metering, dual source meters and bi-directional meters), instrument transformers, net metering devices, and other related applications. 
He shall also be responsible in accurately and completely filling out the Field Testing Report (FTR) and in performing meter testing in line with ERC In-service Meter Testing Plan (power meters on site), as well as in preparing supporting documents or reports in line with the Metering Testing Plan and Metering Rehabilitation Plan.

Responsibilities:

• Performs field inspection and testing of metering facilities.
• Analysis, diagnose and recommend for corrective action based on results.
• Performs field meter testing to resolve CRMS To Do cases (i.e. billing complaints, requests, etc.) and provides explanation to the customers regarding the meter accuracy and other related technical findings
• Coordinates with RPD for any pilferage issues that need apprehension and discusses with customers any findings or issues as found.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer
• Knowledgeable in computer office applications 
• Preferably a Professional Driver's License Holder
