Maintenance Technician
-Performs and assist maintenance team in conduct of routinary maintenance activities in the hydro plant.
-Checks leaks in piping lines of hydraulic control systems, cooling systems, and transformer tanks or any other closed piping components of the hydro plant.
-Checks oil or lubrication level of control systems and bearings to ensure efficient and optimum machine performance during operations. Cleans oil spills in the turbine and other motor components
-Checks and monitors abnormalities or deviation in the operational parameters of hydro plant and its components and reports status to immediate superior.
-Conducts inventory of spare parts for mechanical and electrical maintenance and informs immediate superior of its status.
-Receives and monitors mechanical and electrical maintenance consumable and shop supply in the plant and reports status to immediate superior.
-Checks for any abnormalities or deviation in the hydro plant parts and its components that may affect or prevent remote or automated plant operations.
-Renders operational support to NOCC in the event of troubles in controlling remotely or automation during plant operations under the direction of maintenance engineer.
-Conducts basic functionality test and troubleshooting for any abnormalities or deviation observed under the direction of maintenance engineer.
DURING REHABILITATION
- Assist in the conduct of repairs and maintenance in accordance to the preventive maintenance schedules and other related maintenance activities of the hydro plant parts and its components during the planned shutdown schedule.
- Inspects hydro plant parts and its components for any abnormalities or deviation to ensure good operating conditions and prevent machine breakdown prior to full operations.
- Assist in the conducts of replacing worn out hydro plants parts and or components under the direction of maintenance engineer to ensure that units are ready and in good operating condition.
- Assist in filling up the maintenance forms and other maintenance inspections forms required, and submits to immediate superior for review.
Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience in the repair and maintenance in a hydro power or related industry.
- Preferably with knowledge on operational technology, Scada, Programmable Logic Control, Pneumatics, Hydraulics
- With knowledge in the Philippine Grid Code and Philippine Electrical and Mechanical Code
- At least technical/ vocational graduate
