Logistics Specialist - Fixed Term

This role is primarily responsible for the application and processing of BOC VAT Payment Certificate, shipments customs clearance, permits releasing/renewals and related processes in collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver significant savings, efficient logistics operations, and timely delivery of imported goods in support of the Company's targets.

Duties and responsibilities

• Process VAT Payment Certificates for ASPI, APREC, and RERI and future renewable energy projects
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather required documentation for BOC submissions.
• Review and approval of draft shipping documents such as shipping invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Marine Insurance, etc. prior to shipment.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and logistics teams to facilitate the smooth release of shipments.
• Stay updated on BOC and BIR regulations regarding VAT refunds and customs processes.
• Ensure that all submissions and customs documentation meet compliance standards.
• Monitor the processing timeline for VAT certificates and customs releases to ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding the status of certification requests and customs operations.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications, submissions, and certifications received.
• Prepare reports and summaries on the progress of VAT Payment Certificate acquisition and customs activities for internal review.
• Communicate with the project team regarding customs clearance timelines and any operational and cost impacts if shipments are not released on time.
• Create account in National Single Window (NSW) portal for the application of NTC permits, PTO and ATRIG Application
• Create account in Product Certification Information Management System (PCIMS) portal for the application of DTI permits
• Performs other tasks as may be assigned by superiors

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in any Customs Administration, Logistics Management or any related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, with focus on Logistics Operations, Importations and Customs Releasing. Knowledge of BOC and BIR regulations related to VAT refunds and customs processes.
• Preferably Licensed Customs Broker
