As Lineman 1 Trainee, you will be responsible for a timely completion of work order tasks in accordance with company standards and safety policies in order to deliver continuous and reliable power supply to customers..  and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Distribution Networkt Team  to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Execute and close out assigned work orders for the maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical infrastructure within established timelines. 

• Diagnose system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to ensure the continuous and reliable distribution of power. 

• Conduct routine inspections and servicing of equipment to identify potential points of failure before they impact customer service. 

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:

• Possesses the hands-on skills required to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems and infrastructure efficiently.

• Maintains an uncompromising commitment to safety protocols, ensuring all tasks are performed with a "zero-harm" mindset for themselves and the community.

• Ensures all work orders and technical reports are completed with high accuracy and in full compliance with company standards.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• A Graduate of any Electrical or Technical related courses

• With EIM Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC2

• With Professional Drivers Licence

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Ability to learn and master pole climbing using gaffs and belts, as well as operating from aerial buckets.

• Proficiency in basic knots and rigging techniques used to hoist materials and secure equipment safely.
