As a Lineman, you will be responsible for executing field operations that support the achievement of section targets and performance metrics. This includes the timely completion of assigned work order tasks in accordance with company standards and strict adherence to safety policies. You will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of distribution lines and related equipment, ensuring all activities are performed efficiently and safely. This role is vital in sustaining a continuous and reliable power supply to customers through disciplined execution, teamwork, and compliance with operational and safety requirements. You will work closely with the Distribution Network team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Conducting repairs and troubleshooting of damaged primary and secondary lines to restore power based on approved Work Orders and in accordance with company standards.

• Energizing busted transformer and lateral cut-outs by replacing defective fuses or fuse cut-outs to ensure continuity of power supply.

• Evaluating the condition of damaged kWh meters, performing troubleshooting procedures, and replacing units when necessary to maintain accurate metering and service reliability.

• Assessing the condition of broken or leaning poles to determine potential hazards to customers, and recommending appropriate corrective actions or replacement to the Supervisor.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• Completion of, or enrollment in, a college-level program related to electrical systems, utility work, or a similar field is highly preferred.

• Certification of Basic Lineman Training

• At least 1 year work experience

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Ability to perform repairs and troubleshooting of primary and secondary distribution lines in accordance with work orders and company standards.

• Experience in evaluating, troubleshooting, and replacing damaged kWh meters to ensure accurate metering and service reliability.

• Knowledge of basic electrical distribution systems, line maintenance practices, and safety procedures.

• Understanding of field operations, work order execution, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
