Job Description:

 

Responsible in meeting or exceeding section targets and metrics by attending to and addressing issues and concerns regarding line construction and maintenance which directly impact the section in attaining its goals and objectives.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

PLANNING
Plans the efficient use of resources required to implement the tasks assigned to achieve the section's programs and output
Develop a schedule for completion that effectively allocates the resources to the duties
Coordinates with fellow team members in carrying out assignment

ANCILLARY DUTIES
Records and updates task monitoring sheets periodically
Participates in promoting 5S in the workplace including service vehicles and locker rooms
Files employee time records, meal subsidies and other necessary personal profile updates promptly
Monitors stock of materials needed in department operations and prepares requisition when necessary. Checks with Materials Management for the timeliness of the delivery or availability.
Acts on and supports safety initiative of the company
Stands as back-up to a fellow who is absent or on leave
Readily assumes tasks requiring immediate or urgent attention that may be reasonably assigned by the Team Leader

OPERATIONS
Planning and Implementation
Determine subject areas which the section will focus its efforts to address drawbacks in goal attainment
Prepares project or work prerequisites, involves in negotiations when necessary and oversees implementation
Gather data for root cause analysis on problems affecting section operations
Checks the output of the working group based on accepted standards and established Service Level Agreements

Safety Marshall
To act as Safety Marshall in promoting, creating and overseeing the safety in the workplace and of the workers.
To ensure effective implementation and monitoring aligned to DLPC's safety standards.
Responsible in coordinating with OSSHED for any safety related concern or issues within the department.

Administrative
Ensure one’s personal goals and development plans are aligned with the organization's objectives and attained in the best means possible.
Monitor and recommend requirements on materials and equipment to perform one's role and responsibility.
Facilitates necessary administrative tasks for regular company procedures such as but not limited to requests for payments, purchase orders and liquidations.

Others
Making oneself available to attend to matters of exigent nature which are not specified in this Job Description
Ensures compliance and adherence to ISO IMS, AMS and other implemented management systems
Readily assumes tasks requiring immediate or urgent attention that may be reasonably assigned by the Team Leader

 

Job Qualifications

- Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer

- Has knowledge in Appsheet, Looker Studio and Database Management
- Possesses knowledge on the entire work order process and life of a Line Work Order from forwarding to closing and the different AP DU Service Level Agreements for each step of the process.
- Possesses knowledge on the entire process and life of a Trouble Call from call receiving to closing and the different AP DU Service Level Agreements for each step of the process.
- Possesses know-how in surveying, preparing design and cost estimate and routing of approval of line construction and maintenance work orders through established AP DU procedures using system tools and application (e.g WAM, Agila)
- Has knowledge in the construction, operation and maintenance of distribution lines in accordance with industry-accepted and AP DU line standards.
