IT Project Lead
Mission of Function
The position is responsible for leading and managing the successful planning, execution, and completion of technology projects, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders, ultimately, driving the the achievement of the intended business outcomes in collaboration with the project owner and the key project stakeholders. Additionally, the IT Project Manager is expected to assist the IT PPD team in the implementation & cascade, operationalization and compliance monitoring of the project delivery framework, including advocating it in the entire organization, as well as to help out in the continuous improvement of the process.
Qualifications
Experience(No. of Years)Professional: Has 3 years of experience either directly managing IT projects and/or under the guidance of a Project Manager.
performing functions from project initiation until project closing. Demonstrated experience in various project management
approaches namely traditional (waterfall) and agile (iterative/Scrum).
Leadership: Managed or co-managed projects with a sponsor at
an executive level and at least 3-5 cross-functional project team member.
Project: Lead or manage at least 3 IT projects (small to midsize
projects) either as an IT PM or a IT Project Lead.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any 4-year business course
Licenses: None Required
Certifications Training attendance in globally accepted Project Management Standards (e.g. PMBOK, PRINCE2, SCRUM); Certification on PM standards such as PMP, Agile PM or Scrum is not required but may be of advantage.
