Network Administrator is responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring stable and secure connectivity across all locations for the Renewable Energy Group. This role involves configuring network devices, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with network security measures to safeguard data and IT support business operations.

  • Assists in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to support a reliable network in both IT/OT environments.

NOTE: OT assets are limited to IT related equipment used in the OT operations.

  • Monitors network performance daily and troubleshoots issues related to connectivity, latency, and hardware to ensure stable operations.
  • Implements network security protocols, such as firewalls and access controls, to protect against unauthorized access and ensure data integrity.
  • Assists with backup and recovery procedures for network configurations to ensure quick restoration during outages or incidents.
  • Provides end-user support by addressing IT-related inquiries, issues, and requests in a timely and professional manner to enhance productivity.
  • Manages user access and permissions within network systems, ensuring compliance with security policies and protocols.
  • Documents network configurations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting procedures for operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Coordinates with vendors for support on network hardware and software, and performs basic hardware repairs as needed to maintain network functionality.
  • Follows company policies and IT/OT security protocols to maintain a secure and compliant network environment.
  • Adheres to the company’s Integrated Management Systems policies, standards, and guidelines in daily network operations.
  • Reports network incidents, breaches, or risks to the supervisor, helping ensure proactive management and resolution of network vulnerabilities.
  • Provides basic guidance to end-users on network usage and best practices for secure access to company resources.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor to support network operations and team goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of BSECE, BSCoE and BSIT
  • Relevant Certification is an advantage. (e.g. Cisco, HP, Palo Alto)
  • Professional: Preferably 3-5 years in network administration or technical support
  • 1 vacant position available in Sabangan, Mountain Province
