IT Infrastructure Service Operations Manager
Mission of Function:
The purpose of the role is to lead and oversee the delivery of the enterprise IT Infrastructure services covering the IT Network (LAN/WAN/SDWAN), connectivity (telecoms), telephony, cloud, on premise and other hosting services to ensure that agreed Service Levels across Aboitiz Power business units are met (e.g., service availability, response and resolution time) and aligned with business requirements and stakeholders’ expectations i.e, infrastructure performance is optimal, infrastructure is reliable and secure, service is delivered at the lowest cost possible, and the IT Infrastructure landscape adapts to the current and future needs of the AP BUs and CSUs. Management of internal stakeholders’ expectations and building partnership with external service providers are key to the success of the role. The role also covers driving IT Operational Excellence in the area of IT Infrastructure service delivery by enabling the infrastructure team to comply with global standards (e.g., ITIL) and building the required technical capabilities as well. Prior to transitioning to full IT Infrastructure service management, the primary purpose of the role is to manage the federalization of IT Infrastructure for AP in a way that ensures seamless transition and hand-over.
Qualifications:
Experience (No. of Years) Professional: At least 10 years experience in Infrastructure Operations and Management role
Leadership: at least 5 years managerial role in Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance
Project: At least 3 years experience as a project team member of any IT infrastructure related project
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or any 4-year related course
License Required: Licensed ECE is a plus but not required
Certifications: ITIL V4 foundation, Other industry Certifications/ Trainings on specific IT technologies/platforms (i.e. Azure/AWS/GCP) are a plus but not required
