Job Summary
The GIS Project Staff is responsible for auditing, verifying, and correcting low-voltage (LV) subnetworks within the utility’s Geographic Information System (GIS). Using ArcFM Editor XI, you ensure that the digital twin of the electrical network accurately reflects the physical assets in the field. This involves analyzing surveyor data, tracing network paths from source to endpoint, and ensuring the structural integrity of data related to transformers, poles, and secondary wires to support the utility's operational efficiency.
- GIS Auditing & Verification
- Conduct comprehensive audits of data gathered by field surveyors against the existing GIS scope to identify discrepancies and errors.
- Network Path Tracing
- Trace the actual physical path of the low voltage network starting from the source (e.g., Load Center) through to the customer connections.
- Connectivity Mapping:
- Verify that all electrical connections between transformers, poles, and secondary wires are accurately mapped and reflect real-world physical connectivity.
- System Correction
- Perform necessary technical updates to network connectivity, attribute data, and subnetwork configurations within the GIS environment.
- Data Organization
- Systematically organize surveyor field images into structured folders categorized by pole or load center numbers for reference and monitoring.
Job Qualifications
- Any Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferably with at least 6 months of professional experience in distribution utility operations or related field.
- Preferably with a professional driver's license (at least A, B, and B2)
- Willing to engage under a project-based employment arrangement.
- Able to perform on-site assignments at Subic EnerZone, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City.
