Environmental Specialist for Compliance

The role reports to the Environmental Management Manager and is responsible for:

• Providing support in the design of Environmental Management governance to build and sustain a pro-active environment management culture
• Providing support in the implementation of Environmental Management programs. and recommending improvements to align Business Unit Environmental Management programs with the established 1AboitizPower Environmental Management programs
• Evaluating the effectiveness of environmental compliance programs and corporate standards through audits and regular performance assessments.
• Assisting and coordinating with Business Unit Environmental focal points in Environment-related Stakeholder engagement activities

Qualifications:

Experience (No. of Years) Professional: At least 3 years’ experience in industrial environmental management in multinational power generation, oil and gas, chemical, or related hazardous industries
Leadership: None required
Others: Experience in implementation and audit of Environmental Management programs

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any 4-year science related course
License Required: None required
