As SHE Specialist - Environment, you will ensure environmental compliance and propose sustainability initiatives and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Environmental Management Department Team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Ensure environmental compliance of hydropower operations with the Philippine environmental rules and regulations and local environmental ordinances

  • Propose and execute sustainability initiatives

  • Implement and monitor the watershed management program

  • Identify and update the environmental aspect and impact database

  • Recommend and support the implementation of environmental mitigation measures

 

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:

  • Knowledgeable on Philippine environmental laws, rules and regulations

  • Proficient on environmental regulation compliance requirements, monitoring and evaluation

  • Expert on watershed management program implementation

 

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or Chemical or Civil Engineering, Forestry  

  • At least 2 years of experience in environmental egulatory affairs specifically dealing with LGUs, DENR, Brgy and Municipal Offices.

Technical / Functional Skills:

  • Proficiency in GIS and, QGIS for watershed mapping and land-use monitoring, carbon sequestration program implementation and monitoring 

  • Strong skills in Philippine Environmental laws and requirements
