As Customer Service Engineer, you will prepare line designs and cost estimates for power meter applications and customer requests, manage electrician programs, and verify power quality to deliver reliable and efficient power to customers and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the North Davao Engineering Support Department to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Prepares design and materials/labor cost estimates in accordance with company standards for power meter applications, customer requests, rural electrification, and road widening projects
- Conducts field surveys and inspections to collect technical information, and inspects installed meters to ensure compliance with company metering and service entrance standards
- Performs voltage correction procedures by deploying power and voltage scanners to load centers to investigate and verify power quality complaints of customers
- Collaborates and coordinates with customers, contractors, and internal departments (such as DSD and PMD) regarding large power applications, providing regular updates via the Work Order system
- Facilitates key administrative and compliance tasks, including handling requests for payments, purchase orders, liquidations, leading the annual electricians' program, and ensuring compliance with ISO IMS, AMS, and safety guidelines
To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:
- Demonstrates advanced capability in Distribution Utility's Metering and Construction Standards (Level 4) to apply appropriate guidelines for metering and line services
- Possesses strong knowledge of Business Processes and Tools (Level 3) within Customer Retail Services, including frontline services, metering, line services, and systems such as CC&B, WAM, Agila, and Google Apps
- Exhibits proficiency in Customer Service and Negotiation Skills (Level 3) to build strong relations, resolve customer complaints, and reach win-win solutions
- Maintains professional capability in Light Vehicle Operation and Defensive Driving (Level 3) to safely operate motor vehicles in compliance with traffic rules and safety regulations
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
- Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering)
- Must have at least 2 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, customer service engineering, or a related field
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Basic Awareness on Safety and Health (Level 2)
- Basic Awareness on Environmental Management (Level 2)
- Hazardous Chemical / Materials Handling (Level 1)
- Electrical Safety (Level 1)
- Basic Awareness on Asset Management System (AMS) (Level 1)
