The role of the Civil Support Services Engineer entails providing technical assistance for the civil aspects of existing renewable energy facilities in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon specifically mitigation projects and Repairs maintenance for project Salvation-Phase 2. This includes overseeing the capital expenditure (CAPEX) and MR of civil infrastructure within the power plant, ensuring efficient and effective planning and execution of all civil projects. Responsibilities encompass assisting in developing plans and designs, managing projects, offering technical guidance, creating project specifications, overseeing quality control, conducting survey activities, and analyzing geotechnical/geological factors.

The CSS engineer will collaborate closely with OMD personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed within specified timelines, budget constraints, and to the required standards of scope and quality.

Civil Support Services Engineer responsibilities include: 

 

  • Plan and schedule activities related to the projects.

  • Inspect sites, identify issues, and solve problems.

  • Ensure safety and environmental compliance.

  • Supervise construction to meet approved plans and quality standards.

  • Manage contractors and maintain documentation of maintenance activities.

  • Build relationships with suppliers for timely project completion.

  • Provide technical support to other teams related to the projects.

  • Assist in the Implementation of new technologies for canal, road projects etc., in relation to project Salvation to enhance infrastructure efficiency  

  • Gather field data and assess asset conditions and risks.

  • Design and estimate projects and create plans.

  • Assess damages after natural disasters to the related projects

  • Measure and draft plans of plant structures.

  • Identify and assess hazards and prepare necessary plans.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to achieve goals.

  • Conduct risk assessments for geological factors.

  • Perform geotechnical investigations using specialized tools for the related projects.

  • Follow company policies and safety protocols.

  • Protect information assets and maintain confidentiality.

  • Fulfill any other duties assigned by superiors.
