As Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the overall functions and operations of Payable Accounting, ensuring all financial transactions and activities adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures. The role facilitates work interfaces with various internal departments and ensures the correct and timely payment of financial obligations, including the timely filing of assigned withholding tax returns. and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Accounts Payable Team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Financial Oversight and Compliance: Approve payments to suppliers and employees, ensuring they are processed within agreed service levels and conform to accounting standards and cost center distribution. Review and validate all payable transactions for proper authorization, documentation, and compliance with Company policies, accounting standards, and tax/regulatory requirements.

[Closing and Reporting: Supervise month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure the completeness of recorded costs and expenses. Lead the reconciliation and analysis of Vendor accounts to maintain accurate balances and ensure liabilities are paid on due dates.

Coordination and Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Corporate Accounting Team for timely submission of accurate financial information. Facilitate discussions with internal and external auditors and work with the BPM team to document related business processes. Handle Financial ERP System matters related to the scope and supervise the preparation and documentation of expanded withholding tax returns (EWT 1601E, 1601F, and 1600)

Team Leadership: Plan and schedule the team’s work, set goals and objectives, and provide direction and on-the-job training for staff development.
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy

At least 2 years of related professional work experience.

License (Preferred): Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Technical / Functional Skills:

Required Competencies (Advanced Proficiency): Business Process, Systems and Controls; Financial Accounting and Reporting; Financial and Operational Audit Management; and Tax Accounting, Compliance and Other Regulatory Management.
